Class Descriptions

All classes are appropriate for all levels.

Beginners: Brand new to yoga? Come try a beginners class! Set up very similarly to a Hatha class; we will go over poses and practices a little more in-depth, introduce the energetic/internal aspects of the practice, and focus heavily on safe alignment and connection.

Hatha: The typical translation for Hatha is Ha-Sun and Tha-Moon. With these two elements we create a balanced practice of warming and cooling the body. In my classes you can expect an opening and ending meditation, lots of mudras, mindful movements, pranayama practices, standing poses, and longer holds to encourage a deeper connection with the body and the Self.

Gentle: The perfect balance between Hatha + Restorative yoga. A guided gentle, freeing, mindful movement practice with less strengthening and more of a focus on opening and softening.

Meditation: Whether you are an experienced practitioner or brand new to meditation, this class is all about cultivating your own meditation practice. You will learn different meditation techniques, experienced various guided meditations and have a time dedicated to turning inward.

Restorative: This practice is incredibly relaxing and renewing. The majority of the class is spent in supported poses using blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps, with guided meditation throughout with spaces of silence to encourage the inner silence within. In my classes you can expect some gentle freeing movements, mudras, and pranayama practices.
